They’re called the “magnificent seven.”
And here are their stock returns this year:
Nvidia: +178%
Meta: +131%
Tesla: +96%
Amazon: +52%
Apple: +43%
Microsoft: +37%
Alphabet: +34%
Bulls love ‘em. Bears hate ‘em.
Either way, they’re growing fast.
Here are the 5 year estimates…
Tesla: 152% growth over the next 5 years
Tesla is firing on all cylinders and is set to generate $100 billion in revenue for the first time this year.
Looking out five years from now, analysts see that top line number more than doubling.
The average view of 10 Wall Street analysts is that Tesla will generate $252 billion in 2028.
As you may know, Tesla is hoping to reach 2 million vehicle deliveries this year.
That milestone may seem like a distant memory by 2028, with analysts projecting nearly 5 million vehicles sold annually (including roughly 250,000 Cybertrucks).
Nvidia: 116% growth over the next 5 years
The AI darling is expected to generate nearly $43 billion in revenue during this fiscal year, which would be a 58% increase from last year.
By fiscal 2029, that top line number is expected to climb to $93 billion, based on 5 Wall Street views.
Apple: 46% growth over the next 5 years
The tech juggernaut is expected to report $385 billion in revenue during this fiscal year.
5 years from now, analysts see that number climbing to $562 billion, with Apple shipping more than 285 million iPhones annually.
(Estimates for new products, such as Apple Vision, are murkier)
Microsoft: 92% growth over the next 5 years
Microsoft is expected to generate $211 billion in revenue in its current fiscal year. Looking ahead five years, the company is projected to be generating $406 billion on an annual basis.
Mind you, that forecast is based on a smaller sample size of 4 analysts, but impressive considering Microsoft is the oldest company among the magnificent seven.
Amazon: 77% revenue growth over next 5 years
Last year, Amazon’s revenue topped half a trillion dollars for the first time.
In five years, that number will be fast approaching $1 trillion!
Analysts are currently projecting the company to generate $994 billion in 2028, with $191 billion of that coming from its Amazon Web Services unit.
If Wall Street is correct, Amazon by then will have surpassed Walmart as the biggest revenue-generating business in America.
Alphabet: 57% growth over the next 5 years
In its current fiscal year, Alphabet is expected to generate nearly $247 billion in revenue. Analysts see that number climbing to $388 billion in 5 years.
Of note, more than $50 billion of that will be YouTube ad revenue.
Meta: 53% growth over the next 5 years
A group of 9 analysts are currently projecting Meta’s revenue will increase from $126 billion this year to $193 billion in 2028.
